Objective: 

The course will enable the students to

  1. Design rich databases through MySQL for various applications.
  2. Database connectivity for interactive database operations.

The students will:

CO 201.Implement data definition and manipulation statements in MySQL.

CO 202.Create and manipulate database using advanced functions.

CO 203.Implement constraints, subqueries and joins in databases

CO 204.Demonstrate database connectivity through MySQL to Java

CO 205.Design and develop a relational database for various application domains

 

Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Tutorials, Reading assignments, Demonstrations,  G-suite.

Class test, Semester end examinations, Quiz, Solving problems in tutorials, Assignments, Presentation, Individual and group projects and peer review.

Development of Data Base Applications (Application Domain):

  • Student database for school.
  • Employee database for a company.
  • Library Database for Library.
  • Railway Reservation System.
  • Hotel Reservation.
  • Inventory Control System.
